Smart Nakuru (SHG)
Orphans Sponshorship Appeal Report

A section of destitute pupils with their teachers poses next to their
mud walled shack classrooms in Rhonda slums (Nakuru Town) in Kenya.
Smart Nakuru (SHG) provides these children with basic quality education.
They are not required to pay school fees. So far the pre-school has
35 destitute children in need of basics such as food and clothing. They
currently look for SPONSORS. One orphan
needs a monthly support of US $30.

Smart Nakuru early childhood development (ECD) volunteer busy teaching
her pupils. Unfortunately, they lack learning materials, books, toys,
school uniforms, etc. Due to the financial constraints facing the ministry
currently, we have not been able to provide monthly Take-Home ration
for at least 60 orphans and their care givers for several months.

Pupils waiting for their teacher to open school pit latrine. The pre-school
is yet to build modern pit latrines and classrooms and requires support
from well-wishers.

Pupils doing their African singing games at the school compound. We
only admit orphans who have lost both parents. The school expects to
give the orphans a chance to fit in the society and prover their potentiality.
May the Lord bless you richly.
