Prayer Update
February 6, 2006
Please pray healing for the following victims during their painful
time of recovery.
Daron and Gloria Ra‚ani
Daron, 17, was seriously injured in the recent suicide bombing of the
Netanya mall. He sustained heavy shrapnel damage to his left leg with
near-fatal internal injuries. After critical surgery to save his life,
he remains in the hospital in stable condition and faces many months
of painful recovery.
Gloria,
Daron‚s mother, was also seriously injured. She suffered three
fractures to her left leg as well as deep shrapnel injuries to her arm.
She now is stable and has been released from the hospital; but she is
unable to walk due to her severely damaged leg. Her husband, Yakov,
is unable to do work due to a disability and earns a meager income driving
a taxi. He and his wife have three other children: Shiran 15; Dana 6;
and Eilad, 11 and are
crunched
in a very small 2-bedroom apartment. They are very poor and face difficulties
each month to pay their bills, with continual threats by the bank to
reposes their belongings and throw them into the street. Because of
their slow recovery rate and financial needs this precious family experiences
chronic bouts of depression. Please pray for G-D‚s mercy and love
to come during this very difficult time in their lives.
Tatyana Korlyev
Tatyana
is a 22 year-old Russian immigrant to Israel and was serving as a security
guard in the recent bombing of the Netanya Mall. She received serious
injuries to her leg, head, and body from the massive shrapnel. Tatyana
is now out of the hospital, yet needs further operations to repair her
hearing and scared leg. She has been unable to work since the terrorist
event and struggles financially with her mother who since the death
of her father.
Once
an officer in the Israeli Air Force, Tatyana remains optimistic about
the future. As a security guard, she courageously endangered her own
life to save others. Please pray what you can do to support this heroine
in her time of need.
The Buskilla Family
Lenoi
was critically injured in the open market bombing of Netanya 4-years
ago along with Coby, her sister's husband. Due to the emotional trauma
she suffered, Lenoi has needed psychiatric counseling and very expensive
medication to maintain her stability.
Her
father, Yacov, has 5 other children. He has suffered a heart attack
under the weight of the enormous stress placed upon him and his family.
His ongoing financial problems due to the heart attack and his inability
to work has made it difficult to even put food on the table. The family
remains very courageous as they work hard to supplement their needs
through our Home-Industry program. Please pray for this precious family,
their salvation, and a breakthrough in their difficult lives.
